Dancehall artiste Hype Type Zion Boss is hoping to make a positive impact on local motorists with his new single which is titled, One Life.

The song which was recorded on the popular Cherry Oh Baby rhythm, was produced by the artiste and released on his Zion City Records imprint in February.

The Florida-based deejay says he is optimistic that One Life can be used as a road safety anthem.

“This song was written in Bermuda several years ago but I recently decided to record it because I realized that traffic accidents are increasing rapidly in Jamaica. Every time I get a call from Jamaica I hear about someone who has died in a road accident. People are getting messed up every day on the street. I would like road users to become more responsible when using the roads.”

He added, “I want the people to receive the message in this song. I would love it if the government would endorse One Life and use it in road safety campaigns. I’m sure it would make a positive impact and help to curb road accidents.”

Hype Type Zion Boss is currently busy in the studio working on several new projects. He also plans to shoot a music video for One Life in April.

“The plan is to keep working so I can have a lot more songs out there. I am also working on projects for other artistes that I plan to release very soon on my label. The music video for One Life will be filmed and ready for release in April,” he said.

Some of Hype Type Zion Boss's other songs are My God Love Me, Rasta Mentality and Small Place.
