There’s a new name causing a buzz in dancehall, and she’s not here to play safe. Trinni, the self‑styled “South Side Baddest,” is making her mark with fearless lyrics, strong sex appeal and a clear mission: women owning their power.
Born Samantha Carter and raised in Lowe River, southern Trelawny, Trinni’s confidence was forged early. Growing up in a Christian home, she soaked up gospel, reggae and dancehall — a mix that now fuels her bold sound and unapologetic presence.
“I’ve always loved how music can tell stories and stir emotions,” Trinni shared.
She officially stepped into the spotlight in 2022 with her debut single Stay Solid, a reggae‑dancehall track produced by Paul Patmore of PP Productions. From the start, Trinni made it clear she was about substance as much as style.
Fast‑forward to October 2025, and the artiste raised the energy with Bad Gal Trinni, featuring legendary selector Pink Panther Di General. Produced by Highly Medz and the Five Star Camp, the track quickly caught attention for its high‑octane vibe and bold message.
“Bad Gal Trinni is about owning who you are,” Trinni said. “It’s for women to feel confident, powerful and proud.”
Known for blending hardcore dancehall with touches of reggae, R&B and electronic music, Trinni’s lyrics focus on independence, growth and self‑belief — making her a rising voice for empowered women in dancehall.
She’s also a key member of the Buss Song Sundays team, with Pink Panther Di General serving as her road manager and mentor, opening doors to new collaborations and industry connections.
And she’s not slowing down.
Trinni is gearing up to release a brand‑new single, Big Bad Machine, set to drop April 1, 2026, on the 14 Riddim with the Five Star Camp.
With her bold sound, fearless attitude and growing catalogue, Trinni is proving she’s not just another artiste — she’s a movement in the making.
